Mindful Nature Art Workshops

If you’d like to experience the magic of slowing down and connecting more fully to the natural world, a creative workshop will be a perfect start. Come join artists Scott Euden and Kate Broadhurst in these relaxed and mindful workshops exploring nature through creativity. You will create quick line sketches and add water colour to your pages to connect with the peaceful environment of the hidden gardens at Insole Court. 

All workshops will start and end at The Beth Morris Workshops studio. Students will be provided with a clip board, paper and an artists kit to use during the workshop (paints, brushes, pencils, water etc). 

Once the group is assembled you will walk together with your tutor to your drawing location.

Scott Euden

A Cardiffian and lover of Insole Court, Scott lives in the Vale of Glamorgan. He trained in Fine Art & Visual Culture in UWE - Bower Ashton, graduating in 1997. 

Scott is an accomplished artist with his main inspiration coming from the natural landscape and his work is focuses on memory and experience - walking, hiking and camping within the natural environment of Wales and UK. A recurring motif of trees is prevalent in Scott’s body of work. However, Scott is versatile with his subject matter including portraiture, highly detailed monochrome studies and painting landscapes, seascapes and townscapes.

Scott has twenty years experience as a youth worker for Prince’s Trust Cymru and Educational Visits/Behaviour Coordinator for a SEN school in Cardiff, delivering personal development programmes to support young adults and children with challenging behaviour and learning/special educational needs. Scott is a natural teacher whose love of art is infectious.
