Everywomanfest™ is a social business. Our mission is to create positive health changes in women and girls by improving access to education and providing information that allows people to access healthcare more effectively. 

We actively engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including charities and third sector organisations, local communities, industry and healthcare professionals, seeking to understand and address the needs and concerns of our stakeholders in events.  

  • JULIE CORNISH

    Founder and Clinical Director of Everywoman Festival

    Julie is a Colorectal Surgeon and Senior Lecturer in Cardiff with a specialist interest in pelvic floor problems that occur after childbirth and bowel surgery. She has a strong research interest and has published more than 70 peer reviewed papers and is regularly invited to speak nationally and internationally. Julie is a busy mum of three children and a cocker spaniel.

    Sales and Events Director for Everywoman Festival, Director of Cardiff Medical Events (CME)

    Arwen has been working in the medical events sector for 17 years. She is a busy mum of two and believes strongly in the ethos of the Everywoman festival to promote and empower women.

    Logistics Director for Everywoman Festival, Director of Cardiff Medical Events (CME)

    Ali has a business and nursing background. She was the Director of the Glam camping company for 10 years and brings a touch of glamour to the Everywoman team.

    Events Admin Assistant

    Hana is working for the Everywoman Festival alongside studying for a Degree in Business Management at Cardiff University. Originally from Cornwall, Hana is enjoying the opportunities Cardiff has to offer and being mentored by the highly experienced event team.

  • AMBER TORKINGTON

    Amber is part of the Everywoman comms team and is a junior doctor in the NHS.

  • TANIA ANSELL

    Tania came on board with the Everywoman Festival as a volunteer for the event for its first year in 2023 and has loved watching the event evolve and grow. She has a a passion for volunteering for causes close to her heart and is currently working for a National charity supporting children and young people with cancer. She is also a dedicated board member for a local charity that support children in care and with disadvantaged backgrounds.
