We have an amazing line up of international speakers, acclaimed authors and experts to listen to and discuss your questions. 

Join us for sessions on menopause, tackling insomnia, how to survive and thrive with even the most significant health diagnoses, the gender health inequalities that exist in marginalised communities, contraception options and what barriers exist for women trying to access them. Learn about the link between our mental and physical health and how to experience positive mental health as we age, plus everything you wanted to know about the gut microbiome and Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).

CANCER & SURVIVORSHIP TENT

In a world of social media how do you navigate the minefield of misinformation and disinformation when you have cancer? Join us to find out how best to prepare yourself for cancer surgery and what you can do to physically /emotionally /psychologically recover after cancer treatment. What is the impact of cancer treatment on female hormones and what are your options after menopause?

EDUCATION TENT
(suitable for 12+)

Do you want to know about more how your body works and what is a normal period ? Sustainable options for periods, struggling to sleep ? Problems going to the toilet for a wee or poo, not sure if you might have ADHD or how to get advice on sexual health? 

All of the questions that you have wanted to ask but were too embarrassed or afraid. We have friendly approachable experts who are going to talk through the basics and answer your questions.

GUTHUT
(most talks suitable for 12+)

Lets talk about the Poo Taboo. Do you have a tummy troubles or is your life dominated by the loo? Did having a baby mean your bottom has never been the same but you don’t know what you can do? 

Join us for no nonsense information sessions on what is normal and when to seek help. Understand how you can have a happy and healthy bowel and what we mean by the gut microbiome.

LIVING WITH….
(16+yrs)

Women have a higher rate of long term health conditions that can have a huge burden on our mental and physical health.  Want to know more about how and why female hormones affect our brain and mental health, what that means and what you can do to help it? Join us for a closer look at some of the conditions including endometriosis, adenomyosis, infertility, Ehlers danlos and fibromyalgia that affect many women but can be misdiagnosed, overlooked and poorly managed.

THRIVE THROUGH EXERCISE

We want to enable every female to enjoy sport and exercise for life...female specific factors shouldn’t be a barrier to being active. Are you worried about exercising during pregnancy? Fed up with menstrual cycle symptoms affecting exercise and don’t know what to do? Struggling with balancing body image and food to fuel you in sport? What food should you be feeding your active child? Tired of getting injured? Where to start with sports bras? Be inspired by female athlete journeys. Come and take part in some practical sessions, chat to an expert team of female health practitioners, and help create a thriving female community.

  • If you’d like to experience the magic of slowing down and connecting more fully to the natural world, a creative workshop will be a perfect start. Come join artists Scott Euden and Kate Broadhurst in these relaxed and mindful workshops exploring nature through creativity. You will Create quick line sketches and add water colour to your pages to connect with the peaceful environment of the hidden gardens at Insole Court.

    All workshops will start and end at The Beth Morris Workshops studio. Students will be provided with a clip board, paper and an artists kit to use during the workshop (paints, brushes, pencils, water etc). Once the group is assembled you will walk together with your tutor to your drawing location.
