Originally a graduate nurse, Kirsty has since completed, a diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, and is trained in CBTi. She recently completed a MResin Research Methods in Psychology, at Goldsmiths where she conducted her own research into the factors that affect sleep in early adolescence. Kirsty is interested in the application of CBT-i with different clinic populations, using novel techniques. In 2022 she was awarded an Innovate UK grant to launch a digital course, “Slumber Skills”, which is a commercially available resource for parents to learn how to apply CBT-i techniques to children with sleep difficulties. Kirsty is interested in the promotion of health and wellbeing, and in particular the role that sleep plays in creating a healthy mind and body. Alongside her private practice, Kirsty works closely with a number of professional partners and enjoys delivering training.
