Pilates for Menopause

This floor based Pilates exercise class is aimed at women from peri to post menopause. The class is suitable for those new to exercise, through to those who exercise regularly. The class will include movements which are particularly beneficial for this time of life. Balance exercises to reduce the risk of falling, co-ordination exercises to keep your body and brain active, strengthening exercises to improve bone health, heart health & weight management, pelvic floor exercises to improve & maintain pelvic health, and relaxation and mindful movement exercises to improve quality of sleep & reduce anxiety.

As a peri-menopausal mum, business owner, and smallholder, Becki understands the challenges of prioritising yourself when there are so many other demands on your time. She is committed to supporting women to make time for themselves and to improve their health and wellbeing through movement. Following the diagnosis of a pelvic organ prolapse in early 2022 Becki realised that her knowledge around pelvic health was the missing piece to her Pilates teaching. She then commenced her pelvic health training journey and now makespelvic health an integral part of all of her pilates classes. Becki is a Pilates & Pfilates Instructor, UK Hypopressives Level 2 Trainer, Buff Bones Instructor, Franklin Method Pelvic Floor Fascia Trainer, and Adore Your Pelvic Floor Coach.
