In this session you will learn about the different types of coil (hormonal and copper), what they are used for and how they fitted. We will talk about options for pain relief and have a look at some dummy devices.

Georgina Forbes is a Specialist Doctor in Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare who is passionate about providing treatment for women in their reproductive lives and beyond. She has worked in women's health since 2010 and currently works in Aneurin Bevan University Healthboard and at Oaktree clinic in Cardiff providing high quality contraception and sexual healthcare. Her special interests include medically complex contraception and widening access to coils and implants. She can often be found teaching other professionals the importance of Women's healthcare and is an approved trainer with the Faculty of Sexual andReproductive Healthcare. She is the current chair of the Wales committee for the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive healthcare and is invested in improving care for the every woman in Wales
